Mosquitoes are present everywhere and all times. They are found in places of living, leisure, business or work and throughout day and night. Their mere presence can be distractive and irritating and their bite, life-threatening and even fatal.
Mosquitos transmit Malaria, Filaria, and a large number of viral infections such as Yellow Fever, Dengue, Encephalitis (including the dangerous Japanese encephalitis) and Chikungunya through their blood-sucking habits, which also cause considerable discomfort and distress to humans. In India about 2 million cases of malaria being reported each year.
